2hr practical Childcare First Aid class with pre online questions

 Booking information for Childcare  First Aid

All course times are in Eastern standard time (NSW time zone). 

To complete your booking, you will need to select a date/time and make full payment. Once payment has been received, you will have instant access to your self-paced online learn (1-6 hours). 

Before your practical face to face assessment, please ensure you have completed your online learning comprised of multiple-choice questions assisted with learning material. 

Upon completion of your course, you will receive your certificate by email within 24 hours.

Students completing this course will gain the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants and children in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.

Course Information

Entry Requirements for HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting

  • You must be able to perform 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor to pass this course.

  • Previously HLTAID004 This first aid course is tailored specifically towards working childcare and early learning centres. Often required over a provide first aid certificate. Child and baby first aid, as well as incident report forms and reporting to a regulatory authority, are an important part of this first aid course.

  • All course content is delivered based off the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines. This course goes through everything Provide First Aid does with extra focus on child first aid and CPR.

The following unit will be awarded upon completion of the course

  • HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting – Current for 3 years

  • HLTAID011 Provide First Aid - Current for 3 years

  • HLTAID010 - Provide basic emergency life support - Current for 3 years

  • HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - Current for 1 year

  • Certificates are issued by ABC First Aid RTO 3399
